buttery leather indulgence

Bast Magazine / Odalisque Magazine

just returned from a very fancy pop up shop event at the Copenhagen showroom VESS hosted by friend and significantly talented designer, Vibe Johansson. The gorgeously draped clothes are very relatably marked down, and while I could easily wear the far majority of her stuff, I keep falling hard for the statements and dramatic show pieces. Hence, the insensible leather shoulder cover above, which I would seriously wear with every dress in my closet. And boring grey T shirt. Be mine, lover. I held back, went home and baked myself one, single doughy bun. So that I had something to apply butter on.

the pop up shop is open until this Sunday the 23rd, so you have plenty of time to go have a Sweet Sneak cupcake, feel up the soulful pieces and return home to treat yourself to some buttery gluten lovin

lilya for spring

Lilya AW14
what I want to wear throughout the oh-so-near Spring and Summer.

Australian label Lilya hits so close to my clothing fantasies involving me in easy dresses rummaging through flower fields on a late sunny, Swedish Midsummer. Lilya can thank beautiful soul, Nirrimi at theroadishome for bringing their brilliance to my attention. I think I'll need to simply draw inspiration from their collection due to dull economics, but if anyone wants the real thing, the only international retailers of the brand can be found here and here. And do yourself the deeply satisfying favour of visiting Nirrimi at theroadishome if you are in any way into life.
